Ready to take the next step? At the School of Occupational and Public Health, diverse learning opportunities at the undergraduate or master鈥檚 level prepare students for impactful careers in occupational and public health and safety. 

Choose from two Bachelor of Applied Science programs focused on either workplace safety or population health. We also offer two Master of Science options: a thesis-based research degree or a 12-16-month course-based degree with co-op available.

Undergraduate

Occupational Health and Safety (BASc)

Help prevent injury and illness in all types of workplaces. Learn to evaluate injury and accidents, and to assess harmful exposures to chemicals, radiation and physical agents.

Public Health and Safety (BASc)

Help prevent disease and protect public health for the entire population. Become a public health inspector or pursue food safety, quality assurance, water quality and infection control within the private sector.

Graduate

Occupational and Public Health (MSc)

In the first and only program of its kind in Canada, learn to create evidence-based solutions to occupational and public health challenges related to climate change, infectious diseases, aging populations and more. Select from two options 鈥� thesis or course-based 鈥� to best serve your long-term goals.
