For students, English Islands serves as a personalized tutor. It listens as students read out loud, and provides feedback on exactly which parts of words students struggle with...ensuring they get the support they need, even when a teacher is not able to sit with them one-on-one. 

While a human teacher is always best, there are times when a teacher is working with one small group, leaving the other students without any adult support. In this situation, the students without support may or may not be on task, and if they are on task they might be making mistakes without knowing it - simply because there's nobody there to provide feedback. English Islands fills that gap by keeping students on task, providing personalized lessons and giving them and real-time feedback.
