Nam Kiwanuka is an award-winning journalist and the host/producer of TVO鈥檚 (MIS)Treated, a podcast on women鈥檚 health. She hosted TVO鈥檚 The Thread, The Agenda in the Summer, and was the co-host of The Agenda with Steve Paikin. Originally from Uganda, Nam spent her early years in a refugee camp in Kenya before settling in London, Ontario. Her career in journalism includes roles as the first Black woman in Canada to host a magazine sports show with NBAXL and CFL Crunch on Sportsnet; a VJ/Videographer at MuchMusic, and as a columnist for the BBC鈥檚 Focus on Africa. She鈥檚 interviewed Britney Spears, Salman Rushdie, Margaret Atwood and Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.
